"Groove is in the Heart" is a FREE music group for the LGBTQ+ community that meets monthly at Jim Toy Community Center in Ann Arbor. No musical experience or talent required. Some instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring anything you play or just yourself! This group includes opportunities to sing together, play instruments, share and listen to songs, and just have fun making music with other folks in the community. Led by Ann Arbor based Music Therapist Mel Clark (they/them), "Groove is in the Heart" is a place to find joy in music and community. Meets every 4th Tuesday of the month at Jim Toy Community Center starting June 24th 2025.
